The 2017 Clean-Up Days that were held on Sunday May 14th and Saturday May 20th were a great success despite the fact that I inadvertently scheduled the first Clean-Up Day on Mother's Day. Doh! Although we didn't have as many people show up as last year (which was a record), the members that did show really worked hard to get the place ready for the inspections...and the season. Most people didn't stay for just the hour, they stayed until the task was done, even if it took more than an hour. Some even did multiple tasks. That's commitment...and I love it.
Thank you to all members who showed. We really are a Proud Community.
BTW...I already know the date for Mother's Day next year...I won't make the same mistake twice. :)
