The 2016 Clean-Up Days held on Sunday May 15th and Saturday May 21st, 2016 were the most successful and productive pre-opening clean-ups the club has had in recent memory. The Board really appreciates everyone's positive attitude and hard work. The grounds look beautiful and the clubhouse is clean.
Eighty-five member families came to volunteer this year. That just might be a record for the club.
We completed all the tasks that were scheduled and some that we made up on the fly for things that were noticed while people were helping out.
We fixed a broken fence, we mended the ping pong table, we power washed all the lounges and chairs in record time, weeded, planted annuals and mulched.
The lifeguard station and bathrooms were cleaned, the tool room/supply room was organized and the grill area was spiffed up with cleaned grills, power washed concrete and freshly panted clubhouse walls.
Outside the pool area, the main entrance was cleaned up, we had a couple trees taken down and the gravel was spread out.
These are just some of the accomplishments. There were so many...too many to list.
